AUDRA x KAH: art programme

The Contemporary City Festival AUDRA returns to the city of Kaunas from June 29 to July 2.

AUDRA invites you to the artistic programme of emerging authors at the Kaunas Artists' House. For one day, a giant intergalactic communication channel will land in the courtyard, the interior spaces will be transformed by audio-visual works, and the large hall will be filled with an interdisciplinary performance combining live music, movement, image and video. On the second floor, it will be possible to visit the KAH cycle "Indecent evenings. Naglis" exhibition. In the programme:

𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀
The video installation "Water Narratives" slowly rotates and hypnotizes the viewer with the voice of artificial intelligence and online images. The voice tells about the water, and its ever-increasing echo forms an "echo chamber" in which it becomes difficult to trust the factuality of the narration. Water, which is close and necessary to everyone, is combined with rapidly changing and flowing information through all channels, surrounding itself with myths, legends, sensations, (conspiracy) theories and lies.

"𝗧𝗿𝗘𝗦-𝟮𝗯 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗮"
Hi. I am Faktura, a channel for communication between humans and intelligent beings from a distant galaxy. Now it is the time for personal emotional human development. For an evolution that spreads love for the environment and is the key to meeting extraterrestrial beings.

"𝗨𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗿"
The performance, which combines painting, dance, music and video, embodies the eternal change, the chaos with which we fight and in which we live. Using the interaction of the human body with matter (paint), sound and space, an ever-changing abstract painting is created that reveals the storm that young people create and that is in each of us.

𝗡𝗘𝗳𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘀 ‘𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗡𝗘’
In a world where classical music is becoming less and less appreciated, moderNE aims to make people think about the reckless modernisation of classical arts in today's consumerist society.

ModerNE will feature talented classical musicians performing works by a young composer, accompanied by extraordinary visualizations created by emerging visual artists. This harmonious synthesis of auditory and visual stimuli aims not only to demonstrate the aesthetic value of classical arts, but also to stimulate intellectual exploration.
