β€œGazing at one another” is a performative action researching the female perspective in visual and performative arts and the never-ending self-validation process. Here four personalities meet – EglΔ— GabrΔ—naitΔ—, ElΕΎbieta LatΔ—naitΔ—, Justina MykolaitytΔ— and Veronika Ε leivytΔ— (1904-1998). The latter’s presence is like a fog that hangs among multiplying live-streamed videos, and the words said or sung by the performers. Investigation into the life and work of Veronika Ε leivytΔ— has given us an impulse to acknowledge our shifting identities, look at our own reflections and see if we can find a connection to them. We are documenting ourselves and ask if this is enough. Observed by you, we are going on a completely honest journey of self-knowledge.
