Dainava in the happening. A midsummer's spell

As the midsummer approaches, when the day reaches its longest and the sun sets just an hour before midnight, the community of the Dainava eldership creates a spectacle in the Draugystės Park, filled with the magic of the midsummer's night that will take you from the routine of everyday life to the times when humans retrieved strength from a harmonious relationship with nature and ancient customs. A shared ritual, song, dance and the image of the sun as a mother who can give and take away all, will remind us of the endless circle of time, where every moment is meaningful and leads to renewal. The sounds and rhythm of post-industrial music, symbols and customs from the past, the play of fire and light, live music and other unexpected events will become, perhaps, the greatest creative experiment of the Dainava community. The preparations, which took more than a year, involved different institutions, creators, enthusiasts and volunteers from the Dainava district. They will be joined by professional performers and art collectives in the Midsummer Mystery.
