Klezmeriai grįžta į Kauno rajoną: Kačerginė

Klezmers are back: Kačerginė

Kačerginė has had an active Jewish community for a long time, so many forgotten traces of Litvak culture have survived in the town.

The CityTelling Festival invites you to get acquainted with these cultural traces during a guided tour. Later join the klezmer musicians for a concert! Klezmer music will be performed by violinist Boris Kirzner, percussionist Arkadijus Gotesmanas, accordionist Darius Bagdonavičius, and clarinettist Haroldas Parulis.  

Venue: the beginning of the tour and the concert venue - bus stop/"Žibutė" sanatorium square. The tour will be led by guide Lina Sinkevičienė.

IMPORTANT. The tour will start at 14:30, and the concert at 16:00. (duration 30 minutes).
