7-part “Pinokeys Movement” Chain of City Performances

The idea of the PinoKeys movement is based on a two-pronged approach to the character of Pinocchio: the self as a growing personality that seeks to conform to the concept of the "good man," trying to adapt and please the public's attitude toward each of us. The aim of the project is to manifest a social position, to offer a new model of behaviour, a new relationship with a group of "others", "fakes". The desire to set a precedent for crowd empathy is one that evokes not the destructive, divisive, but unifying, societal moods of the crowd.

The performance is created by professional performers of performing arts together with people with disabilities.
The project is run by Kaunas City Chamber Theater and Kaunas European Capital of Culture 2022 project “Inclusive Performing Arts Platform”, which aims to bring together the experience of people with disabilities and artists in creating artistic performances on stage with different performing arts professionals.

Trees also dream! Little woodies also dream! Strike is an installation-performance calling for solidarity against the destruction of trees and self. Long live everything alive!

Understand that there is a reciprocal causality between man and the environment, and that man and the environment interact.
You need to remember that what matters is your approach to the environment, not your position in that environment. You need the determination to show our common potential. Trust and don't be afraid. Watch. There is power in your hands. There is power in your mind.

Sometimes there are things you won’t see with the naked eye, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist. There are things in the sound that are awkward and uncomfortable, so we choose silence. Sometimes we are too naked to be in a crowd, so we choose solitude. Sometimes there is a lack of peace, so we choose to take refuge in nature. Today you never want to scream like never before. To shock. To scare. To provocate. Today I want to extend a language that was started a long time ago, but too quietly. Today we want to strengthen each other, we only sometimes get scared. We don’t know how we’re still looking… And sometimes very little is enough: to hear you’re not alone. That you are greater than great, and that your strength is to accept yourself also the weak. Disappointed. And lost faith. And… We push away regret, we cry for understanding. Awareness. Support. Openness. Devotion and Love. Man to man.

Who can change and modify the current situation? It’s about the relationship with the little-known people around us and their potential impact on our lives. Do we give in to the opinion formed by society, or do we choose our own, personal solutions to problems? But can we all be directors of our own lives, just do we always decide to make bold and decisive decisions?
