International contemporary art exhibition MagiC Carpets Landed

The international exhibition MagiC Carpets Landed will take place in Kaunas (Lithuania) from the 5th of November 2021 to the 23rd of January 2022.

The international contemporary art exhibition MagiC Carpets Landed stays at the Kaunas Picture Gallery for an additional week. Visit the part of the exposition at the II and III floors till the 30th of January.

The exhibition, presenting the results of the four-year Creative Europe platform MagiC Carpets will present the work of 57 emerging European artists who, over the four years of the project, have rendered specific artistic interpretations of the residence locations in fifteen partner countries. In Kaunas, each artist will provide reflections on pertinent topics such as marginalization, crossing borders, nationalism, and migration. The blend of technology, artistic imagination, storytelling and the surrounding space will lead spectators to a new perception of reality.
