Kaunas Choir Days

The efforts of almost all European peoples for a united Europe have already been put into practice by singers and musicians. With motto “Kaunas - European Capital of Culture in 2022” this special festival is for choirs to come with their families, friends and sponsors. This event is an invitation to meet friends of choral music, to sing and celebrate together and make new cultural contacts. It is a friendship meeting - not a competition. Intended participants Choirs of all genres of choral music from all the Europe, e.g. mixed choirs, female choirs, male choirs, both - established choirs and project choirs. The venues The concerts will take place in concert halls, churches, universities and cultural centers. Number of participants Baltic and international choirs with between 500 and 1000 participants.
