SAMOVAR CIRCLES: Equal possibilities in artists&presenters relationship: Palestinian Circus School
Webinar and discussion with Noor Abo Alrob (artist & trainer) & Shadi Zmorrod (the founder of Palcircus)
In this edition of the Samovar Circles think tank the network aims to dive into the questions of various diversities in our different contexts and the complexities of the relationships between artists and presenters.
---
This year’s edition of the international contemporary circus festival Cirkuliacija presents artists and stories that come from the outside of the European context. This is a unique opportunity to grasp the aforementioned topics from a very unknown perspective to the thinkers of this network.

Noor Abo Alrob and Shadi Zmorrod are circus creators and teachers in Palestine - a politically charged context that differs in many ways from the Baltic-Nordic practices. The seminar will delve into the political and cultural aspects that affect their professional environment and how they function in the international market.
The seminar will have a sufficient amount of time to ask and answer all the questions that will arise - both live and virtually. A livestream on Facebook (follow @Cirko Sapien on FB to be informed in time) will have the option of asking questions in real time.
Date and time: June 8th at 14:00 (EEST)
Hybrid seminar: taking place in Kaunas Artists’ House, Reading room. Open for participants on site and online via the live broadcast.
