It is quite possible this film will make Kaunas world famous.
When Irish artist and filmmaker Aideen Barry saw Kaunas, she was speechless. The result of Aideen’s fascination with Kaunas is “Folds/Pleats”, a 64-minute silent film she made with the community of Kaunas.
It is not just another story about Kaunas. It is in itself an exceptional work of art, transcending tradition.
The illuminated buildings of Kaunas city centre will invite you for a sneak peek, while the premiere of Aideen Barry’s film is scheduled for June 2022.
