Jonas Juodzevičius (1947-2020) exhibition Independent Brushstroke

The exhibition of Jonas Juodzevičius (1947–2020) is intended to remind, update or familiarize with the work of the painter, docent of VDA. Although he was actively creating, the artist rarely exhibited his works in the last two decades. Having publicly invested himself in pedagogic activities - and was very popular with students - he usually confined his own artistic activities to private spaces: he usually showed his paintings to neighboring painters of the Šančiai district or visiting fellow artists. The accumulated fund of several hundred canvases is open to a wide field of art lovers.

The exhibition will be open: 12 January - 12 February 2023.
